Before the rollout

CAMA CAFE was founded in 2006 and now runs more than a hundred stores, with a great deal of experience behind its coffee quality and store operations. Growth brought a problem with it: when an experienced employee left, years of accumulated judgment and hard-won responses went too, and newcomers had to work it out from scratch.

The traditional SOP manuals were thorough, but staff had no time to read and remember them, so when something actually happened they still went to ask an experienced colleague. Knowledge that travels along a personal network is fragile and inefficient, and that is how the gaps form.

Goals

  • Turn each department’s operating know-how into an AI SOP that can be handed on
  • Stop knowledge transfer from depending on particular experienced employees
  • Free up staff time for creativity and innovation
  • Build a complete corporate knowledge graph, a searchable web of how people, events and things relate
  • Let every department develop AI Agents of its own
03

What Intellicon Solutions did

Intellicon Solutions helped CAMA CAFE bring in an enterprise AI Agent platform, with staff across departments building their own Agents. Through AI workshops that everyone attended, we walked them through SOP mapping, data cleaning and prompt design, handing the ability to build over to the staff themselves:

  1. 01Knowledge mapping and data cleaning: scattered documents turned into AI-ready data
  2. 02AI Agent build workshops: staff across departments learned to train their own Agents
  3. 03Full deployment and continuous improvement: covering administration, marketing, operations and supply chain
  4. 04MCP (Model Context Protocol) configuration: connecting databases and applications so a task runs from end to end

What the management team says

“Coffee is a business that cares about terroir. Different origins and different processing methods produce a distinct flavor, and knowledge inside a company works the same way. CAMA CAFE’s experience is unique and built up over a long time, hard to copy to another brand, but through AI Agents we can pass that know-how down through the generations inside the company.”
— 何炳霖, Chairman, CAMA CAFE
“We do not just want to use AI. We want AI to become one of our core capabilities, with every department able to develop and refine AI assistants as they need them, so the organization keeps learning and evolving.”
— 何炳霖, Chairman, CAMA CAFE

What the partner says

“In little more than a month, CAMA CAFE built over 30 AI Agents, and staff in every department gradually took hold of the ability to build them, putting AI into every part of daily work. That kind of comprehensive rollout plan, and the enthusiasm and drive the staff showed for a new technology, put them near the top among the hundreds of companies we have worked with.”
— Claudia Chen, COO, Intellicon Solutions

What’s next

CAMA CAFE plans to use MCP configuration tools to connect its inventory and operations databases, so that AI Agents can reach the company’s latest data safely and under full access control.

Once connected, the Agents can work with up-to-the-minute sales, inventory and e-commerce data and call on a range of applications, running analysis, recommendations, report emails and notifications to the right people from end to end.

What CAMA CAFE shows is that AI is not the preserve of the technology sector. Any company that wants to turn knowledge into competitiveness will have to face it sooner or later.
